Want to see some real miracles?  Do you need a miracle? Jesus has one for you, and you can receive it!  We are holding more special Maine Miracle Meetings with evangelist Dr. David Newberry starting Sunday February 7th and continuing through at least Wednesday February 10th (7 PM nightly) here at Penobscot Bay Family Church in the Thomaston Academy Buildling (60 Main St.) in Thomaston.

Dr. Newberry has been in the ministry for 44 years and has a long track record of dramatic signs and wonders in his services. Blind people see, deaf people hear, lame people walk!  That isn’t just in Africa, we saw these things happen right here in Thomaston the last time Dr. Newberry was here! God loves people in Maine just as much as he loves people in Africa where many of Dr, Newberry’s crusades have been done, and He is just as willing to perform the same miracles right here in Maine! Come see for yourself! Better yet, bring someone with you who needs a miracle!

Dr. Newberry started a church while serving as a missionary in Zambia that was able to become self-supporting and now has over 3500 people. He has been an instructor at Christ for the Nations in Dallas and now gets invitations all over the world. He is used to preaching in large outdoor evangelistic events overseas, and we are THRILLED that he is willing to come back and bless Maine!  He has preached to crowds of 80,000 in Africa and we consider ourselves very blessed to have such a person be willing to come to minister to much smaller crowds here in Maine.

These are revival services, and we expect a move of God that will affect not only PBFC but all other Bible-believing churches who participate.

Our previous MAINE MIRACLE MEETINGS were held nightly from July 15th to July 30th, 2009. Here are some excerpts from our log from those meetings.

7/28/09 Update: We received testimonies of a woman with a back problem who was suddenly able to bend over and touch the floor (which she couldn’t do before) and a man who had pain in his hands all night felt the pain leave completely.

7/27/09 Update: A woman who could only a large-print Bible with difficulty using glasses was suddenly able to read a regular-print Bible without glasses. Two other people reported immediate significant vision improvement.  A man with a bad disc in his back noted immediate improvement. A woman who could only be helped into a car with great difficulty to come to the meeting received strength in her legs and was able to get into the car after the meeting without difficulty.

7/25/09 Update: A woman with a thyroid condition that was causing her to be overweight was unable to get any relief from her doctor, but she has lost 6 pounds since the meetings began. Her doctor told her she should go back to these meetings!  A woman who had been suffering from fibromyalgia and had difficulty walking started walking around feeling much better.  A woman with a back problem reported that the pain left immediately when Dr. Newberry laid hands on her.  A woman who came with a cane the first night hasn’t used it since. A man who had severe breathing problems that had been brought on by smoking instantly felt the Lord heal his lungs and now he can breathe normally again.

7/20/09 Update: A man in a serious motorcycle accident was rushed to emergency surgery 2 nights ago.  Brother Newberry and Pastor Steve laid hands on a handkerchief for his mother to take to him. He was lifted up in prayer.  The doctors said his foot was like hamburger and his hip had come out of its socket.  But when he got into surgery, they found that his hip was back in its socket and it was as if it were cemented back together. Instead of “hamburger”, they found his foot bones completely whole except for a toe fracture. He was not “coming to” after surgery and had dangerously low blood pressure, but he snapped out of it immediately when his mother threw the handkerchief on him.  He was discharged from the hospital hours later!  Tonight the floor was covered with people enjoying the presence of God.  A woman experienced immediate relief from jaw pain.  There have been so many healings it is hard to remember them all.

7/15/09 Update: A woman who was blind in her right eye was able to see out of that eye after Brother Newberry laid hands on her in the name of Jesus. Two people with hearing difficulties had their hearing improve dramatically.
